Blue Diffusion is a small diffusion model trained on 183 photographs of blue objects from my flat in Copenhagen. The images were taken in March 2026 with the phone I already had. The dataset was left uncleaned; the camera grain and the yellow cast of the walls remain.
Training ran for approximately three hours on a single graphics card in my studio, powered at the time largely by wind. With such a limited dataset, the model follows the room as closely as the objects.
The lighting and some of the pixel texture of the original photographs survive; very little in the way of objects does. The model is not intelligent by any useful measure; it is a function that turns noise into pixels, runnable in any browser.
