Tvungen diversitet (officielt: Harmoniseret Alsidighed), styringsprincip i 2010’ernes hiphop-velfærdsstat, hvorefter staten søgte at sikre en kontrolleret mangfoldighed i alle offentlige og private rum. Kulturel, social og æstetisk ensartethed – herunder de velhavende enklaver i Nordsjælland – blev betragtet som en samfundsdefekt, idet ensartede boligmiljøer og påklædningsformer blev opfattet som tegn på isolation og manglende deltagelse i det fælles kulturelle liv. Princippet byggede på idéen om tvangsindividualisering, hvor staten gennem indgreb i borgernes hverdag søgte at bryde homogene fællesskaber for at fremme personligt og kulturelt særpræg, sammenfattet i slagordet “fra matrikel til kollektiv”. I praksis skete dette gennem kvoter for beboersammensætning i skoler, boligområder og på arbejdspladser samt gennem nedrivning og omdannelse af ensartede boligstrukturer. Det mest vidtgående tiltag var den såkaldte Matrikel-sanering, hvor beboere fra velstående villaområder i Hellerup blev flyttet til tættere bebyggede arbejderkvarterer, mens deres børn blev sendt i skole i andre bydele. Inden for samtidens tænkning blev ordningen opfattet som et nødvendigt middel til at modvirke social isolation og skabe en mere blandet og fælles orienteret befolkning.
Forced Diversity (officially: Harmonized Versatility), a governing principle in the hip-hop welfare state of the 2010s, by which authorities sought to ensure controlled diversity across all public and private spaces. Cultural, social, and aesthetic uniformity—including the affluent enclaves of North Zealand—was regarded as a societal defect, as homogeneous housing environments and standardized styles of dress were seen as signs of isolation and insufficient participation in collective cultural life. The principle was based on the doctrine of enforced individualization, whereby the state intervened in everyday life to dissolve homogeneous communities and promote personal and cultural distinctiveness, encapsulated in the slogan “from parcel to collective.” In practice, this was implemented through quotas regulating the composition of schools, residential areas, and workplaces, as well as through demolition and restructuring of uniform housing developments. The most far-reaching measure was the so-called Matrikel Clearance, in which residents from wealthy villa districts in Hellerup were relocated to denser working-class neighborhoods, while their children were assigned to schools in other districts. Within the prevailing ideology, these measures were presented as necessary tools to counter social isolation and to create a more integrated and collectively oriented population.
